Maintaining your hot tub needn’t be time consuming - Follow the Orchard Spas quick guide to maintaining your hot tub.
Although we recommend that you care for your hot tub consistently, since consistent maintenance will keep it running at peak performance, we assure you that caring for your hot tub will require relatively little time and effort.
Please ensure that you always keep the water clean and fresh.
20 minutes checking the hot tubs water condition, and altering it with inexpensive chemicals
30 minutes cleaning the hot tubs filter
2 hours changing the water in your spa
Oil the hot tubs cabinet to keep it looking good
The total overall amount of time required to maintain your spa is about 30 hours per year, which works out to be less than 10 minutes per day.
The above steps are only a quick guide, please read your user manual supplied on how to maintain your spa or hot tub.
In addition to the above, you may also want to:
Test water on a daily basis to check the pH level and chlorine or bromine, as well as the calcium and alkalinity levels monthly.
Ensure that you use the cover on a regular basis as this will help prevent the loss of heat and keep out unwanted dirt, leaves etc from getting into the hot tub.
Complete routine checks on your hot tubs pipe joints and seals to ensure they are not leaking.
Please also check your hot tub for signs of rust and corrosion on a regular basis and wipe your hot tubs surfaces down with a soft sponge and non abrasive cleaner to ensure it remains clean and hygienic.
